My Experience
The most important thing that I learned is how to dig into the case in a more comprehensive and systematic way. Through progressive case study, it helped me to understand how IDs can effectively engage in learning experiences through using problem solving and analytical skills. It simulates the real world problems where IDs can apply their emerging knowledge to study instructional design problems in authentic situations.
Designing has always been my favorite activity as a teacher. While doing the activities in the course, it brought memories of preparing learning materials for my students. I always approach teaching with a designer’s mindset, I become hyper aware of every little decision I make and how it affects your students. Through teaching I’ve learned that through designing, students are more engaged and successful when they are set up to confidently make their own decisions.
